Refined, peaceful rural setting. Excellent restaurant with delicious meals. Friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous walks in a large park. Stylish and functional bathroom. Good taste in decoration.

This absolutely lovely renovated palace was a great choice for a romantic escape. The mix of old and new is just charming, and it is beautiful to see how they managed to modernize without losing the old charm. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern amenities you need. the location is just perfect, as it is close to both Bayreuth and Bamberg. You can enjoy lovely walks and the culinary experience was truly top notch.

Well, it would have been even better if there had been A/C in the rooms. , the service was somewhat slow at times, but this should not deter you from experiencing this wonderful place.

The hotel had clean and spacious rooms, and the location was convenient since it was close to the Autobahn and not too far from major cities. the staff was friendly and had good communication skills which made our stay enjoyable. the food at the restaurant was great and the prices were reasonable.

The service was slow and unprofessional; one morning we were told that coffee wasn't available, but it was brought to us at the end of the breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel with excellent food and friendly staff. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with great walks and scenery. The rooms were clean and spacious with high ceilings and large windows that opened. the parking was free and right outside of the hotel.

This hidden gem is conveniently located close to the Autobahn and opposite a charming church. the unique ambiance of the old castle adds to the charm. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds provide a peaceful night's sleep. You can also enjoy an evening stroll in the woods or through the wild park. the restaurant offers a selection of interesting and tasty meal options at reasonable prices. all our requests were promptly and warmly taken care of by the friendly staff.

Some facilities such as A/C, minibar, and safe-deposit box feel a bit outdated or absent.
